In 1938 the founder of the company, Mr. Anne Jakob Dijk Sr, started a dental import and export enterprise by the name of Dentimex in Zeist, The Netherlands. Mister Dijk’s innovation of Vertex denture materials and continuous product development provided the basis for the current company’s core business: premium denture solutions with reliable performance.

The extensive range of the Vertex products makes Vertex-Dental the foremost independent manufacturer of high quality prosthetic dental products. Today, Vertex products are exported to over 200 distributors in more than 75 countries worldwide and are used by an estimated 100.000 dental technicians daily.

We strive not to merely manufacture denture materials; we aim to provide our customers with Premium Denture Solutions. Our extensive research efforts, combined with close contact and constant dialogues with our customers, enable us to deliver in-depth knowledge of denture making.

The Vertex Dental Academy, established in 2006, is a major instrument in our strategy. The Academy offers specialist courses for dental technicians in which they can learn new and time saving techniques. At the same time, their feedback provides us with a good insight in their daily work life and hands-on professional experiences, needs and demands.
