Every dentists know that polishing and finishing are very important to end any tooth restoration procedure. In fact, all dentists won’t be graduating their clinicals in their college years because they won’t be getting a grade if their restorations are not polished and finished. Long gone are the days when dentists have to sweat so much to achieve a certain polish and finish in their restorations especially now.

What I personally do love about these small gizmos is that while it does its thing all the time, it has more than 5 times of its re-usability. Follow the rule of thumb: the more abrasive the polisher, the lower the rpm used. For example, high rpm with the green Jiffy might over-shape or ditch the margins. if you build a tooth properly (sculpt with wetting resin, etc) you may not need the green or possibly the yellow points.
Doing restorations is not always as easy as it looks. Sometimes it is and sometimes it is not. What makes it easy for a practitioner is when one uses the right tool at the appropriate time. And, Jiffy Polishers and Finishers are sure handy to have around when it does.
